iTunes Music Podcast - How To Get Your Free Podcast To Stay Spam-Free
For those that have not been following the latest and greatest in music technology, then you are missing out on some of the best podcasts to be found out there. Whether you love pop culture, hip hop or even classical music, there is a podcast out there for you. If you happen to be an iPhone user, then you already know what they are and if not, you need to find them right away.
If you were a fan of the new wave of radio shows, then you probably listened to a lot of them at the time and probably still do. But what happened to all those great podcasts out there that have been around for years?
You can probably imagine the amount of music that has gone digital. The first wave was podcasts and radio shows. The second wave was podcasts with audio books, movies and television shows. And now we are moving into the next wave, which is music podcasts.
I am sure if you were around in the music industry when iTunes first came out and all the major music labels and publishers started pushing it and selling it like hotcakes, you will remember all of those "free stuff" that people were asked to download. They were nothing more than iTunes promotion campaigns and a lot of them. In this case, these podcasts with music. It did not take long for these programs to start popping up.
Apple did not give up on their free downloads and it did not take long for them to get banned by all of the major music platforms. Many of them have stayed there and still thrive on Apple's system. The podcasts that were in the free iTunes system have all disappeared.
The problem now is that there are so many websites out there that are starting to push their own podcasting software onto the internet and they do not allow for comments or podcast ratings as they should. This means that the music podcasts are going to stay in the spam-free zone because there is no way for you to give your opinion on a podcast or rating the quality of the music or how good it is.
Music podcasts are still a great source for those that are just getting started in the world of music and want to listen to some great music without having to spend hundreds of dollars for it. These types of services are really not very expensive and can make you a lot of money with them over time.
My advice is to go with those that do not use advertisements in the podcast and are still free, or better yet, go with one of the free hosts that is listed above and check them out. You might be surprised at the selection.
Another thing to consider is that free podcasts have a lot of audio books and short stories for people to listen to. They do not have to be full length, but they can be.
Another important thing is that it is important to read through all of the information and find out what the podcast is all about before you download it. There are a ton of podcasts out there that are nothing more than a bunch of music that you can listen to on your iPod and never hear anything else.
Of course, when you do download a podcast from an iTunes podcast, you do have the option of commenting on it or even rating it or leaving a rating or review. so that people know what they are missing out on.Learn more at Spotify Podcasts
But the only real way to keep your podcast free from spam-free is to stick with a service that is not only free but also offers comment and rating on the podcast. It may not cost much, but it will keep your iTunes account spam-free.
